How can we help?

The fastest route for anything: email support@halite.cc. A person reads every message, usually within a day.

The Recipe Clipper extension

The icon isn't in my toolbar

Chrome hides new extensions behind the puzzle-piece icon at the top right. Click it, then click the pin beside Recipe Clipper to keep it one click away.

What does free mode include?

Without an account you get 10 free clips and 10 AI edits a day. Click the icon on a recipe page and the recipe opens, ready to cook, at halite.cc/clip, where you can copy it or ask the AI for changes. A free Halite account removes the limits and saves clips to your library.

A site wouldn't clip

Some sites block automated readers. The extension gets around this by reading the page in your browser; if you pasted a link at halite.cc/clip instead, use the paste box that appears and the same clipper works from your pasted text. Video links need a free account, since Halite reads the transcript and captions, and watches the video itself if those aren't enough.

Where's my activation code?

Sign in at app.halite.cc, open Settings → Chrome Extension, and copy the code. Paste it into the extension's options and clips start landing in your library. Codes are shown once and expire after 90 days; generate a new one from the same place any time.

Something's stuck and I want to report it

Right-click the extension icon, choose Options, and click Copy clip log under Diagnostics. Paste that into an email to support@halite.cc — it contains the extension's own step-by-step record (never page content) and usually pinpoints the failure immediately.

The Halite app

Account, billing, or data questions

Halite is free while in beta. Your library is always exportable from Settings, and deleting your account removes your data. The Privacy Policy and Terms of Use cover the details; anything they don't, ask us directly.

Using Halite with Claude

The Halite Recipes connector lets Claude search, edit and plan with your recipes. Setup takes a minute: see halite.cc/claude for the connector URL, the steps, and how to disconnect.

Switching from another recipe app?

There's a dedicated guide for Yummly, Samsung Food, and Paprika at halite.cc/switch, including the Paprika importer that brings photos along.
