Halite is a recipe manager: import recipes from any website, video or photo, edit them with AI, scale them, plan meals, and shop from one list on every device. Here is what it costs.

  • Recipe imports from links, videos, photos and pasted text
  • AI recipe editing, scaling, nutrition and allergen estimates
  • Meal planning, shopping lists, pantry and meal log
  • Sharing, the Chrome extension, and the ChatGPT and Claude connectors

No monthly caps until Halite Pro launches. When it does, the free plan stays, with monthly limits on the three costliest features: 5 video imports (only ones Halite has to watch to find the recipe), 10 AI photos and 20 image uploads a month. Measure as you go, which puts each step's amounts right under it, gets a monthly limit too. We'll give at least 30 days' notice first, and anything you've already saved stays yours.

The price rises in published steps as members join; you keep the price and discount you bought at. We may occasionally reopen the founding price for a limited-time event with a stated end date. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies.

Every plan has fair-use limits that stop abuse and runaway automation, such as how many requests can run per minute. They are set well above everyday cooking use; see section 3.2 of the Terms of Use.

For people who cook from Halite every week. Everything in Free, plus:

  • More recipe videos. Higher monthly caps on video imports from TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, including the ones Halite has to watch to find the recipe (Free: 5 of those a month)
  • More photos. Higher monthly caps on AI food photos and your own uploads (Free: 10 AI photos and 20 uploads a month)
  • More Measure as you go. A higher monthly limit on putting each step's amounts right under it
  • A tidy library. The duplicate finder spots recipes you've saved twice so you keep the best copy, and merges duplicate labels
  • Clean share cards. Share a recipe or a collection as an image without the Halite watermark

Monthly or yearly. The price isn't set yet, and salt crew members get 25% off it for life. The Free limits above only start when Pro launches.
