Can't sign in?
Email support@halite.cc from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm the request and delete the account, usually within 7 days.
What is deleted
Your account and everything stored with it: recipes and their history, notes, labels, shopping lists, pantry, meal plans, meal log, collections, public share links, passkeys, uploaded photos, push notification devices, usage counters and the records of connected AI assistants and browser extensions, with their access tokens. You are also removed from any recipe someone shared with you.
What is kept, and for how long
- Server logs expire on their own after 30 days.
- Bug reports and feedback you sent us are kept as our support record. Ask us and we'll delete them.
- Records of actions our team took on your account, such as changing its plan, are kept as our record of those decisions.
- If you bought anything, Paddle, which processes our payments, keeps its own order records as tax law requires.
- An anonymous count that an account was deleted, with no name, email or user ID.
