Plan my week

Five dinners. One short list.

Tap Plan my week and Halite picks dinners that share ingredients, then writes one shopping list for all of them.

Plan your first week Free version, always. No card.

Each row is one thing you buy.

The dots are the nights that use it. In this example week, tomatoes cover four meals and parmesan covers three, so they go on the list once.

Halite also shows what the same number of meals picked at random would need: about 23 fresh ingredients, against 8. Pantry staples like oil and onions aren’t counted on either side.

Halite's Plan a week screen. 6 meals, buy 8, which is 15 fewer than picking one at a time. A bar for Halite's picks reads 8 and a bar for one at a time reads about 23. Below, rows for tomatoes, parmesan, broccoli, mixed vegetables, beans and beef, with dots for the nights that use each one.

The planner draws from Halite's collection of free recipes as well as your own, so your first week doesn't wait on an import.

What's left over from dinner turns into lunch.

Turn on Use it up and Halite adds lunches that use the ingredients your dinners leave behind. In this example week that was three lunches, and the green arrows show which dinner each ingredient came from.

Fleur: “One list. Lunch included. Magnifique.”

The same Plan a week screen with Use it up switched on. It reads 9 meals, buy 11, plus 3 lunches. Green dots and dotted arrows run from parmesan, mixed vegetables and beans on dinner nights to the lunches that use them.
Same screen, Use it up on.
